Duh.

Today I used my lunch break to explore the streets around my office – now that its cooler out its not as satisfying to sit in the park. I bought the Alchemist at the corner book stand (Ive been meaning to read it for years), and then kept strolling up Madison. Don’t know why, but window shopping at all the big-name stores just wasn’t as exciting as I expected it to be. Probably because I know that it would cost me 2 weeks’ salary just to buy a paperclip from Bvlgari. Anyways, on my way back down Lex, I stopped in Papyrus, a guilty pleasure of mine. I bought a really nice journal, and decided to turn it into a scrapbook/journal like I had on my trip to Italy. I was so excited about it, and was explaining it to my dad on the phone.

“Dad, its like a real-life blog!”

“I know, honey. Journals came first.”

Duh.
