I think its fair to say that any person under the age or 25, whether they admit it or not, still measures things in drinks. “I would have bought that book, but it was $15 and thats like 2 drinks!” If I had known then how much drinks would be now, I would have stocked up on $2.50 pints back in college. I remember thinking, “A $5 footlong from Subway? Or two beers….” Now I think “Groceries? Or three mojitos?”
When does the money to drinks conversion stop happening — or what does it change to? Diapers?
