It’s the most wonderful time of the year: Santacon. Thousands of New Yorkers swarm the streets dressed as Santa, reindeer, dreidels, snowmen, and the like for a day-long bar crawl. This year we started at the marina down near Battery Park and made our way to South Street Seaport.
The highlight was probably the Seaport. Even though it was cold, we kept warm by doing the electric slide, the Macarena, and a conga line. Best moment: a spontaneous double-dutch circle breaking out. Someone in a Frosty suit jumped the longest, and the crowd lifted him on their shoulders in delight.
Already counting down the days to 2012.
